Dairy Cattle and Dairy Goat 4-H Member Advancement
Dairy Cattle and Dairy Goat 4-H Member Advancement EM4877E
Author(s): Nancy Mordhorst

Steps 1–6 of the self-paced Advancement Program will make your 4-H dairy cattle and/or goat project more interesting; help you learn more about what animals need to produce milk; help you develop greater skills with dairy animals; provide you with new, enjoyable experiences; allow you to advance according to your ability, interest, and willingness to work; and recognize you for work well done. Each step includes a list of skill and personal development options, with associated blanks for you to fill out passing dates and obtain parental or leader approval. Step progression indicates a building process, which will be rewarded with advancement certificates.
