The Strengthening Families Program for Parents and Youth 10 to 14 (SFP 10-14) is designed to test family-focused interventions that are intended to help reduce the likelihood for substance abuse and other problems associated with the teen years. This is a seven-session program focusing on reducing family-related risk factors for adolescent problem behaviors and building protective factors in young adolescent children and their parents/caregivers.
