Managing Weeds and Vegetation in Christmas Trees
Managing Weeds and Vegetation in Christmas Trees PNW0219   Weeds can cause problems at all stages of Christmas tree growth--whether competing with newly planted trees, reducing vigor and quality in established trees, or damaging lower branches at harvest. Planting in weed free soil is ideal. This bulletin offers weed control suggestions for real life situations, whether you are selecting a site for a new planting, working with established trees, or restoring an abandoned plantation. Herbicide formulations and sprayer calibration are discussed as well.
