Many diseases, such as snuffles and pneumonia, are caused by the bacteria Pasteurella multocida. Other serious diseases are enteritis, listeriosis, necrobacillosis, salmonellosis, staphylococcus, myxomatosis, rabbit pox, fibroma, and fungal diseases. Parasites include ringworm, mites, fleas, ticks, coccidiosis, encephalitozoonosis, toxoplasmosis, roundworms, and tapeworms. Vitamin deficiency, hereditary diseases and poisoning are also discussed.
