About You and Me Packet Units 1, 2, 3, and Leader Guide
About You and Me Packet Units 1, 2, 3, and Leader Guide PNW0339
Author(s): Mary Y. Deen and Joseph R. Kurth
It is tough to be a kid in today's world. Dealing with peer pressure, drugs, alcohol, sex, suicide, family breakups all require a basic sense of self-esteem, good communication skills, and the ability to make the right decisions. Most experts feel it is important to start helping youth at an early age. Written with first graders [ages 5-7] in mind, this program comes as three pamphlets plus a leader guide. The units are self-esteem, expressions, and decision making. Each unit's activities creatively focus and encourage youngsters' participation. The leader guide gives important overall guidance tips and program enhancing suggestions.
