Potato Bruise Prevention: The Harvester
Potato Bruise Prevention: The Harvester VT0060   Your harvester is both your partner and your workhorse in the field. This video offers tips and reminders to improve the harvest quality of your potatoes. Don't harvest potatoes until the day warms the tubers above 45 degrees. Take the extra time to check blade levels and hugger belts; looking for worn chains and deflectors can save you time and money. This video may remind you of just one more item you may have forgotten. Not a bad way to review all the aspects of potato harvest, particularly if you are breaking in new workers.
