Helping Children - Supporting Kinship Families Through Collaboration
stm0019   On June 7th, 2006, the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, Casey Family Programs, and Washington State University are co-sponsoring a statewide kinship care training. The training, entitled "Helping Children - Supporting Kinship Families Through Collaboration" will take place via video conference in at least 12 sites around the state. Participants will learn about a range of resources available to kinship families, about best practices in serving kinship families, and about the latest developments in community collaboration. Both state agency and private sector staff who work with kinship families are encouraged to attend.
